Staff Mobility

Teaching Mobility

Teaching Mobility: Staff teaching mobility enables staff members who are required to teach at a higher education institution in Turkey holding an ECHE to deliver lectures to students at a higher education institution in one of the Programme Countries also holding an ECHE, and to carry out joint academic/educational activities with the partner institution. Within the scope of staff teaching mobility, it is also possible for staff members employed in an enterprise located in one of the Programme Countries to be invited to a higher education institution in Turkey holding an ECHE to give lectures to students. The staff invited to teach must be employed in an enterprise, training center, research center, or any other organization that meets the definition of an enterprise abroad. In this context, an eligible enterprise refers to any public or private organization engaged in any kind of economic activity, regardless of size, legal status, or the economic sector in which it operates, including those within the social economy. The grant for the invited staff is paid from the Erasmus mobility budget of the higher education institution in Turkey holding the ECHE; however, invited staff cannot be from higher education institutions holding an ECHE in Programme Countries. Staff teaching mobility is a day-based activity, and grant payment is made for the days on which teaching is provided. Therefore, in the Staff Mobility for Teaching Agreement (Mobility Agreement), the teaching program must be specified on a daily basis.

Training Mobility

Training Mobility: Staff training mobility enables any staff member employed at a higher education institution in Turkey holding an ECHE to receive training in one of the Programme Countries. Within this activity, participants may attend various types of training (such as job shadowing or on-the-job training) to improve their skills in areas related to their current job. Within the framework of staff training mobility, a staff member employed at a higher education institution holding an ECHE may go to another higher education institution or an appropriate organization to receive training. Possible host organizations include enterprises, training centers, research centers, chambers of commerce and industry, schools, foundations, non-profit organizations, career guidance providers, professional consulting and counseling organizations, higher education institutions, and other organizations defined in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide. In this context, an eligible enterprise refers to any public or private organization engaged in any kind of economic activity, regardless of size, legal status, or the economic sector in which it operates, including those within the social economy. Staff training mobility is a full-time activity, and grant payment is made for the days on which full-time training is received. Therefore, in the Staff Mobility for Training Agreement (Mobility Agreement), the training program must be specified on a daily basis.

Incoming Staff Mobility

Incoming Staff Mobility: Staff wishing to visit our University from abroad within the scope of teaching mobility must first ensure that an inter-institutional agreement covering teaching mobility exists between their home university and our University. For administrative staff wishing to visit under training mobility, such an agreement is not required. Academic or administrative staff members who wish to visit our University under this program should first apply to the Erasmus Office at their home university and then contact the Erasmus Office of our University. To do so, it is sufficient to send an email to erasmus@tinaztepe.edu.tr.
